#4.) Brock Lesnar – Survivor Series 2017
It was a champion vs champion bout at Survivor Series and then-Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was scheduled to take on Jinder Mahal, who laid out the challenge while he was still WWE Champion. However, less than two weeks prior to the PPV, AJ Styles defeated Mahal for the WWE title on an episode of SmackDown Live, putting him in a match against Lesnar by default.
It wasn’t often that fans got to see an outstanding, long, performance from Lesnar in his second WWE run. However, Lesnar seemed to take an exception to Styles and the two told an incredible story, with Lesnar obviously being the dominant, stronger one. There were many close moments and it seemed like Styles almost had it in the bag, but it was ultimately the Universal Champion who prevailed after an incredible effort by Styles.
