Hit – Moose has arrived in WWE NXT

It’s finally happening. Moose versus Oba Femi will be the biggest crossover match in WWE-TNA history. This writer wasn’t expecting the TNA X Division Champion to show up after what happened to Oba at WWE NXT Vengeance Day. They kept the segment short in order to build hype for what’s about to come. Super pumped for this!

Miss – Post-match beatdown ft. Fatal Influence, Karmen Petrovic & Ashante Adonis

The triple threat that preceded the beatdown was a lot of fun. Jada was the star but Petrovic became the number one contender to the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship. That said, Ashante spent the entirety watching his girl get boots to the face but decided to jump at the right time to take a chair shot to the back. Next time, just grab Petrovic and get out of the ring, Ashante.

Hit – Women’s tag team match on WWE NXT

ZARIA is starting to find her own footing in tag team action. Sol just so happens to complement the former Delta. Meta Girls have incredible chemistry as a tag team. NXT needs to bring back the women’s tag team titles because matches like these are making the women’s tag team division relevant week in and out.

Miss – His name is Ricky… Saints

Hear me before you call me out. The NXT Universe probably knows who Ricky Starks is. He’s big enough of a name to carry the brand to the next level. So why change his name to Ricky Saints.

Yes, we’ll get used to calling him Ricky Saints but let me go on a rant while Saints prepares for his WWE NXT in-ring debut. The promo exchange with Ethan Page was great so was the right hand to Wes Lee.

Hit – WWE NXT six-woman tag team main event

This was a fantastic main event featuring the all-star tag team of Jordynne Grace, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia against Fatal Influence. ZARIA will probably join the mix after she gets done with Sol Ruca. Fatal Influence are brilliant as a heel trio but they really need to claim some wins if they want to stay relevant on the NXT roster.

Honorable Mentions

  • We’re probably getting the third match but not the last match between Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe. Trick seems to be stuck on the upper midcard level. Let’s see if he gets to Oba Femi before someone else does.
  • The Hardy Boyz got a shoutout on WWE NXT this week. Matt and Jeff will be in action next week on CW. The WWE-TNA partnership truly is doing wonders for TNA. Let’s see if we get Fraxiom versus The Hardys on WWE television.
