NXT Vengeance Day Preview And Predictions

NXT Vengeance Day comes to you live from Washington’s Entertainment and Sports Arena on Saturday, February 15. It’s NXT’s first Premium Live Event of the year and the second overall after the WWE Royal Rumble 2025.

Vengeance Day’s main card will kick off at 6pm EST on Peacock in the US and Netflix for WWE fans worldwide. Yes, Peacock still has the streaming rights to WWE PLE’s so make sure to turn the service on if you want to catch the action live this Saturday.

That said, let’s begin our WWE NXT Vengeance Day preview and predictions.

Ethan Page vs. Je’Von Evans

Preview: Ethan Page’s brutal assault on Je’Von Evans left The Young OG with a broken jaw. Evans spent several weeks on the sidelines before attacking Page after his match against Cedric Alexander in the lead-up to NXT Vengeance. Evans would put pen to paper this past Tuesday to make their match official.

Prediction: Ethan Page and Je’Von Evans have done nothing but turn heads since arriving in NXT. Page holds a victory over Evans in singles competition. However, The Young OG isn’t to be messed with after losing his teeth to All Ego. As for the outcome, the match is going to mark Evans’ comeback as a major player on NXT.

Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe – Strap Match at NXT Vengeance Day

Preview: Eddy Thorpe failed to beat Trick Williams for the NXT Championship back in January. Thorpe would, however, cost Williams the title in their triple threat at New Year’s Evil. The feud continued on the road to Vengeance Day. Thorpe attacked Williams with a strap before Trick agreed to face the former Karl Fredericks in a strap match this Saturday.

Prediction: Trick Williams is back to chasing the NXT title. This time it’s Eddy Thorpe, who’s proven to be a constant thorn in Trick’s side. Thorpe’s previous attempt at winning the title often ended in controversy. Fans have yet to see Trick take on Oba in singles action, which will most likely take place after Trick picks up the win against Thorpe.

Fraxiom (c) vs. Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura – NXT Tag Team Championship

Preview: Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura won a multi-man match this past Tuesday on NXT. After the match, Fraxiom addressed the winners to announce they’d got their title shot this Saturday at NXT Vengeance Day.

Prediction: Briggs hasn’t held a title in years. It’s about time he got a piece of gold around his waist. Fraxiom have emerged as, arguably, the best tag team in WWE. But their reign ends courtesy of Briggs and Inamura.

Fallon Henley (c) vs. Stephanie Vaquer – Women’s North American Championship Match at NXT Vengeance Day

Preview: Stephanie Vaquer established herself as the number one contender to the NXT Women’s North American Championship before Shotzi got in her way. However, a win over Shotzi solidified Vaquer’s position as the number one contender for Fallon Henley’s championship.

Prediction: NXT didn’t do much to solidify Fallon Henley’s title reign. She’s fantastic on the mic and great in the ring. They really missed out on the opportunity to fully utilize her. She’s nothing but fodder for Vaquer this Saturday.

Giulia (c) vs. Roxanne Perez vs. Bayley vs. Cora Jade – NXT Women’s Championship Match

Preview: Bayley and Roxanne Perez originally got the opportunity to challenge Giulia for her NXT Women’s Championship at Vengeance Day. However, a win over Bayley this past Tuesday put Cora Jade in the mix – turning this match into a fatal four-way.

Prediction: The champion is at a huge disadvantage entering into this match. Giulia doesn’t need to be pinned or submitted to drop her title. But we all know how this is going to end. Giulia will retain her title by pinning Cora Jade (most probably). Shawn Michaels could potentially have Bayley take the pin if he wants to really establish Giulia as the face of the women’s division.

Oba Femi defends his title in a triple threat at NXT Vengeance Day

Preview: A-Town Down Under returned to NXT looking for competition. Waller and Theory set their eyes on reigning NXT Champion Oba Femi. The pair even secured a victory over Oba and Trick Williams in their tag team match two weeks ago. Things got heated after the pair feigned an implosion only to take out the champion with a cheap attack this past Tuesday on NXT.

Prediction: The bigger question is will A-Town Down Under survive as a tag team this Saturday because it’s every man for himself at NXT Vengeance Day. Oba Femi will look to get his payback for what Waller and Theory did to him this past Tuesday. There’s no stopping the NXT champion except for maybe the mystery group that seems to be arriving this Saturday.

WrestleZone will have full coverage of NXT Vengeance Day as it airs on February 15.
