Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a Women’s Casino Gauntlet match with the winner getting a shot Dynamite: Grand Slam Australia. Kris Statlander earned the number one spot in the gauntlet by beating Willow Nightingale and Toni Storm last week.
HOOK vs. Christian Cage on AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage
After going back and forth for weeks, HOOK and Christian Cage will finally go one-on-one tonight on Maximum Carnage. HOOK blames The Patriarchy for attacking his father Taz on a previous episode of Dynamite.
The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, & MVP) vs. Private Party (Zay & Quen) & Mark Briscoe
The Hurt Syndicate interrupted Private Party’s celebration last Wednesday. The same night saw Bobby Lashley beat Mark Briscoe in singles action. Tonight, Briscoe joins forces with Zay and Quen to take on Lashley, Benjamin and MVP – who’ll be making his AEW in-ring debut.
Ricochet to speak on AEW Dynamite
Ricochet will address his brutal beatdown of Swerve Strickland tonight on Dynamite. For those who didn’t watch, Ricochet cut open Strickland with a pair of scissors at AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen.
Kenny Omega vs. Brian Cage
The Don Callis Family attacked Kenny Omega before he was saved by Will Ospreay last week on Dynamite. Tonight, the Cleaner makes his highly-anticipated return to the AEW ring for the first time since May 2023.
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs – AEW World Title Match
Powerhouse Hobbs survived a gauntlet match last week to become the number one contender to the world title. Hobbs would make the save for Cope and FTR from The Death Riders later during the show. Tonight, he goes one-on-one against champion Moxley. Hobbs and Moxley previously competed for the NJPW title on April 24, 2023 AEW Dynamite. The match came to an abrupt end after Hobbs got injured.
