Tonight’s show will feature the fallout from NXT New Year’s Evil. We’ve got ourselves a title match in addition to two number one contender’s match-ups.
Here’s what’s on tap for the January 14 episode of NXT.
Unholy Union vs. Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Match
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn will make their in-ring return to NXT tonight against the Meta Girls (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson). The winner will get a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Bianca Belair and Naomi.
Shotzi vs. Stephanie Vaquer – WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship #1 Contenders’s Match
Stephanie Vaquer won a fatal four-way to become the number one contender to the NXT Women’s North American title. However, Shotzi pinned reigning champion Fallon Henley later that night. Tonight, Shotzi and Vaquer collide to determine who faces Fallon for the title.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer (c) vs. OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) – NXT Tag Team Championship
Bronco Nima and Lucien Price won a gauntlet match to become the number one contenders to the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship. Tonight, OTM finally gets the opportunity to take on Fraxiom for the tag team titles.
Oba Femi and Giulia to appear on WWE NXT
Oba Femi and Giulia both became champions at NXT New Year’s Evil. Giulia beat Roxanne Perez in the opening contest for the NXT Women’s Championship. Femi defeated Trick Williams in a match that also featured Eddy Thorpe for the NXT Championship. Femi appeared on RAW last night.
