It’s almost time for WWE SmackDown!
This week’s SmackDown will go down live at Portland’s Moda Center in Oregon. Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Kevin Owens, and Solo Sikoa are advertised to appear. Roman Reigns and The Rock aren’t. The OTC’s next WWE appearance seems to take place on the January 27 episode of RAW in Atlanta, GA.
As for The Rock, he put the ulafala on Reigns following his win over Solo Sikoa on RAW. The Final Boss isn’t expected to pop up on television in the foreseeable future. That being said, here’s what’s on tap for the January 10 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. LA Knight – United States Championship match
Shinsuke Nakamura defeated LA Knight for the United States Championship at Survivor Series 2024. The Megastar has since failed to reclaim the title from the champion. Nakamura defeated Andrade in singles action last week on WWE SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton to appear on WWE SmackDown
Tiffany Stratton shocked the world last week when she cashed-in on Nia Jax to become the new WWE Women’s Champion. Stratton appeared in the crowd at RAW’s Netflix premiere. Click here to read what Stratton had to say after winning the title.
Cody Rhodes to appear
Cody Rhodes has had a rough few weeks. The American Nightmare beat Kevin Owens at Saturday Night’s Main Event 2024. Owens flattened Rhodes with a piledriver post-match. Owens later demanded a rematch for the title. Rhodes accepted but with a stipulation of his own. Both men had a run-in during Reigns versus Sikoa on RAW.
