It’s almost time for AEW Dynamite!
All Elite Wrestling comes to you live from Chicago for the Thanksgiving Eve edition of Dynamite. Matches and segments for Collision will also be taped tonight from the Wintrust Arena.
Tonight’s Dynamite will feature the fallout from Full Gear. Plus, the 2024 Continental Classic kicks off with four matches in the Blue and Gold League set to go down.
With that said, let’s begin our preview of the November 27 episode of Dynamite.
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii – ROH World Championship Match
Tomohiro Ishii failed to beat Jericho for the ROH World Championship during Y2J’s first run with the title two years ago. Tonight, the Stone Pitbull gets another shot at the championship. Can Ishii capitalize on the opportunity and add the ROH title to his impressive resume?
Darby Allin vs. Brody King – Continental Classic Gold League on AEW Dynamite
Fate has once again brought Darby Allin and Brody King against each other. The two arch nemesis will collide in the Continental Classic Gold League match-up tonight.
Darby previously beat Brody in their singles match-up At AEW WrestleDream. Most recently, he was seen emerging from the car after attempting to run over The Death Riders at Full Gear.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Mark Briscoe – Continental Classic Blue League
Mark Briscoe competed in the 2023 Continental Classic but failed to win the tournament. Mark was part of the Gold League but only managed to get three points. Tonight, he’s once again entering the tournament.
The former tag team specialist takes on Shelton Benjamin in this upcoming Blue League match-up. Both men previously met in tag team action that also featured Mark’s late brother Jay Briscoe back in 2013.
Ricochet vs. Claudio Castagnoli – Continental Classic Gold League on AEW Dynamite
Ricochet and Claudio Castagnoli both worked Full Gear this past Saturday. While Castagnoli didn’t compete in a match, he made sure Jon Moxley escaped with the AEW World Championship.
Ricochet, on the other hand, failed to defeat Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW International Championship.
