Motor City Machine Guns (c) vs. The Street Profits – WWE Tag Team Championship
MCMG will have their first televised tag team title defense tonight on WWE SmackDown.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin defeated The Bloodline to win the tag team titles previously on the blue brand. The Street Profits announced themselves as the challengers during a segment featuring MCMG and #DIY last week on SmackDown.
What will Kevin Owens do next on WWE SmackDown?
Kevin Owens revived a banned move against former close friend Randy Orton on SmackDown. The Prizefighter spiked the Viper with a piledriver during their confrontation. WWE updated fans on Orton’s status in the aftermath of the deadly assault.
With Orton seemingly out of the picture, what does Owens have next in store for superstars on the blue brand? We’ll find out tonight.
New opponent for LA Knight?
LA Knight walked into WWE Crown Jewel as the United States Champion. The Megastar walked out of Riyadh with the title belt around his waist.

Will Nick Aldis give Knight his next opponent tonight? Speaking of Aldis, the WWE SmackDown GM unveiled the Women’s United States Championship last Friday.
Fans can expect another announcement as it pertains to the newly-introduced midcard title for the women tonight on the blue brand.
Nia Jax (c) vs. Naomi – WWE Women’s Championship
After feuding with each other for the past few weeks, Nia Jax and Naomi must face each other for the WWE Women’s Championship tonight.
Naomi, Jax and Tiffany Stratton all appeared on RAW this past Monday to plant the seeds for the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.

A surprise return on WWE SmackDown?
Tonight’s SmackDown could witness a surprise return.
Word on the internet is that Paul Heyman could make his return to television as soon as tonight. The WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t been seen since he went through the table on the June 28 episode of SmackDown.
The Wiseman may return in time for Survivor Series as Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa look for the fifth member to add to their Bloodlines.
