WWE RAW Review: Hits And Misses For November 4

Welcome to the latest edition of our weekly WWE RAW hits and misses series.

USA Network aired a pre-taped episode of RAW last night. The show was taped at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 3.

Here’s what went down on the November 4 episode of Monday Night RAW.

Hit – Women’s battle royal on WWE RAW

This was a really fun battle royal where every participant did something meaningful instead of waiting in the corner for their turn. Maxxine Dupri had some decent pop till she got eliminated by Ivy Nile. Jade and Bianca’s elimination seemingly set up a future tag team title match against Liv and Raquel. IYO SKY eliminating Lyra with a bridge German on the apron and celebrating her win holding that pose was definitely the highlight of the match-up.

Miss – New Day vs. War Raiders

These two teams have had better matches in the past. The crowd wasn’t feeling the match till Xavier Woods made the sudden tag on Kofi. The larger storyline is the ongoing tension between Kingston and Woods. Let’s see if WWE manages to hold off on the breakup till Survivor Series.

Hit – Sami Zayn and The Usos segment

Sami Zayn got a great reaction from the Saudi fans. They love him. Jey Uso received one of the biggest pops of the night. I like how Jey thanked Sami for having his back at Crown Jewel. Sami referencing his friendship with Jimmy Uso was a great callback to their OG Bloodline days. I think Jey should’ve worded his family line a little differently because he was telling Sami just last week on RAW that he ain’t family. Sami, Usos and Roman Reigns will be on SmackDown this week.

Miss – Chad Gable loses on WWE RAW

WWE Creative needs to start showing some love to Chad Gable. He put on one hell of a match against Dragon Lee. The LWO star was taking bumps like his life depended on it. The outcome should’ve favored Master Gable because, quite frankly, I’m tired of seeing him take L after L after L despite giving his one hundred percent.

Hit – Fatal four-way match

This was a solid fatal four-way to cap off Monday Night RAW. Dom really had the crowd on the edge of their seat with his pinfall attempt on Sheamus and Damian Priest. The biggest start of the match, however, wasn’t Dom or the other three competitors. It was Bronson Reed. The Auszilla took down all competitors before hitting Rollins with a tsunami on the broadcast table. Really digging the stuff WWE’s been doing with these two men. Also, Gunther versus Priest II is going to be interesting.

Honorable Mention

  • Miz did a terrible job selling his abduction by the Wyatts. It looks like he was about to laugh. Bo was the star of the segment. It’s great to see him being able to get in his element with the Uncle Howdy character and carry on the legacy of his later brother.
