WWE NXT Halloween Havoc is officially in the books!
NXT’s October Premium Live Event emanated from the Giant Center in Hershey, PA. The same building is set to host tonight’s RAW. (Check out the preview here). Before that, it’s time for our Halloween Havoc review.
Oba Femi (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo – NXT North American Championship Tables, Ladders, and Scares Match

These two wanted to hurt each other from the beginning. The Tables, Ladders & Scares match provided just the kind of atmosphere needed to contain the animosity. Oba may be a monster, but he was quite strategic in his use of foreign objects. Tony held more than his own against the big man. The spot with Adriana Rizzo was fun and ultimately set up the climax of the match. Based on the outcome, it seems like the feud is done. Let’s see what’s next for these two warriors.
Women’s Tag Team Match At NXT Halloween Havoc

This was arguably the match of the night, as these four ladies killed it. We got a wonderful display of technical prowess in the early going. Cora Jade was probably the weakest link in the match-up, but she worked well with Roxanne Perez to keep Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer at arm’s length. It seemed like they’d protect Roxanne by having Cora take the pin instead, but the outcome was surprising. The post-match angle featuring ZARIA was awesome as well. Check it out here.
Andre Chase vs. Ridge Holland – Ambulance Match

Chase and Holland did a solid job of making the most out of the opportunity. That said, the match felt slow at times. It also had what felt like unnecessary bumps on the outside. The biggest takeaway from this match is Holland’s win, of course. Does this mean the end of Chase U as we know it? Let’s see what happens this Tuesday on the WWE NXT Halloween Havoc fallout show.
Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Fatal Influence – NXT Women’s North American Title Gauntlet match
Fallon Henley was an early favorite initial pick to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship, and her first singles title win was a happy moment. She deserves it. As for Kelani, it was a strong way to bow out of the title picture. Kelani proved she was a fighting champion by taking on all three members of Fatal Influence.
The post-match angle with ZARIA left fans with questions, as it seems she’s going after the Women’s North American Championship. But in that case, what was the point of teasing her involvement in the NXT Women’s Championship picture?
Trick Williams (c) vs. Ethan Page – NXT Championship Devil Playground match
Page meant every word when he said he’d bring the hell to Williams. The champion showed resilience in the face of adversity, even it if meant landing gut first on the steel steps. As if that wasn’t enough, Page sent Williams back-first into the announcer’s desk.
It was a story of good prevailing over evil, and both men did a fantastic job of selling it. The post-match angle with Bully Ray was fun. Let’s see what Shawn Michaels has in store for the fans when NXT comes to the 2300 Arena.
