Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade

Andrade took his acclaimed series against Melo to 3-2 by beating HIM two weeks ago on WWE SmackDown. El Idolo, however, failed to beat LA Knight for the United States Championship the following week on the blue brand.

A dejected Andrade was mocked by Andrade following his loss, which caused a brawl between the two bitter rivals backstage last week on SmackDown. Tonight, both men collide to determine the winner in this presumable Best of Seven Series match-up.

Bayley vs. Naomi – #1 Contender’s Match For WWE Women’s Championship

Bayley and Naomi both survived a high-stakes match-up last week on SmackDown by pinning Nia Jax at the same time. After hearing both superstars stake their claim to the women’s title at WWE Bad Blood, GM Nick Aldis announced a number one contender’s match for 9/27 SmackDown.

Solo Sikoa returns to WWE SmackDown

Solo Sikoa’s head hit hard on the floor while taking a dive from Cody Rhodes during their Steel Cage match on SmackDown’s USA premiere. The challenger lost clean to the champion, but attacked him post-match with the help of The Bloodline.

After Roman Reigns arrived to clear the ring, Solo stopped Jacob Fatu from going one-on-one with “The OTC.” The former NXT North American Champion returns to SmackDown tonight to address the WWE Universe just one week before he and Fatu take on Rhodes and Reigns at Bad Blood.

WrestleZone will have full coverage of 9/27 SmackDown as it airs.
