It’s almost time for WWE RAW!
WWE comes to Toyota Center in Ontario, CA, for tonight’s RAW. CM Punk, Gunther, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, and Jey Uso are advertised for the show.
Here’s what’s on tap for the September 23 episode of Monday Night RAW.
Sami Zayn vs. Ludwig Kaiser
Sami Zayn has been trying to get a world title match against Gunther for weeks. The former Honorary Uce happens to be one of the few men to hand the Ring General a pinfall defeat on WWE television.
Zayn and Ludwig Kaiser had a physical exchange last week on WWE RAW after Gunther once again denied Zayn his title opportunity. Kaiser delivered a sneak attack on Zayn only to get planted by a helluva kick later.
Both men will go one-on-one on RAW tonight.
Drew McIntyre to appear on WWE RAW
Drew McIntyre unleashed his brutality several weeks ago on CM Punk by shoving Punk’s prized bracelet in his mouth, turning him into a bloody mess in the process. McIntyre would attack Punk while he was being carried out on a stretcher.
WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced a Hell in a Cell match between these two bitter enemies to settle the score once and for all. Punk showed up last week on RAW to address his bad blood with McIntyre.
Tonight, the Scottish Psychopath returns to the red brand to tell the world what’s on his mind ahead of the brutal match-up.
Bron Breakker (c) vs. Jey Uso – WWE Intercontinental Championship
Jey Uso bested Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne and Braun Strowman in a fatal four-way match to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship previously on WWE RAW.
The Yeet Master had a one-on-one confrontation with Bron Breakker last week on the red brand. The confrontation quickly turned physical as Jey put away Breakker with a spear of his own.
Breakker, however, would get the last laugh by spearing Jey following the main-event match between Dominik and Priest.
