Giovanni Vinci makes his WWE SmackDown in-ring debut
Ludwig Kaiser kicked Giovanni Vinci out of Imperium on WWE RAW in April. Vinci would move to SmackDown as part of the 2024 WWE Draft.
A vignette featuring the repackaged Italian wrestler aired on the August 9 episode of WWE SmackDown. Tonight, the blue brand gets a taste of “Veni, Vidi, Vinci!”
Bayley vs. Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton cost Bayley her WWE Women’s Championship against Nia Jax at SummerSlam 2024.
The Role Model remerged during last week’s Street Fight between Jax and Michin to take out Stratton.
Tonight, Bayley makes her SmackDown in-ring return against Ms. Money in the Bank.
Eight-man tag team match on WWE SmackDown
The Bloodline destroyed both The Street Profits and DIY previously on SmackDown.
Tonight, all four members of the dominant faction take on two of SmackDown’s best tag teams in an eight-man tag team war.
Cody Rhodes responds to Solo Sikoa
Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa with a little bit of help from Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2024. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief said he was coming after the winner of Rhodes versus Owens from Bash in Berlin.
WWE announced that the American Nightmare will respond to the former Enforcer of The Bloodline on 9/6 SmackDown. What will Cody Rhodes have to say to Solo Sikoa? It remains to be seen.
What’s next for Randy Orton?
Randy Orton failed to become a 14-time World Champion at Bash in Berlin. The Viper fell to Gunther after a hard-hitting match.
Orton had said in the lead-up to the PLE that he would join RAW if he won the World Heavyweight Championship.
What does the future hold for the Viper on the blue brand? We’ll find out.
