Here’s what’s on tap for the September 3 episode of NXT.
Lexis King vs. Oro Mensah
Lexis King previously interrupted Meta Four’s moment on NXT, leading to a brawl with Oro Mensah. Tonight, NXT’s self-proclaimed “King” takes on Noam Dar’s “Main Man” in singles action.
Trick Williams vs. Pete Dunne
Pete Dunne blindsided Trick Williams with an attack on the 7/23 episode of NXT. The two men got into a brawl two weeks later.
Dunne planted Williams with a Bitter End following the WWE NXT Championship match between Ethan Page and Joe Hendry this past Sunday at No Mercy.
Tonight, the feud comes to a close as Dunne and Williams duke it out.
WWE NXT Tag Team Title Number One Contender’s Match
Axiom and Nathan Frazer reclaimed their NXT Tag Team Championship from Mr. Chase and Ridge Holland at No Mercy.
WWE announced that TNA’s The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) will face Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger in a tag team title number one contender’s match on Tuesday.
For those unaware, Miguel’s sudden appearance cost Wes Lee his singles match against Wentz at No Mercy.
What’s next for Chase U after Ridge Holland’s shocking betrayal?
Chase U failed to retain their NXT Tag Team Championship at No Mercy. Ridge Holland destroyed Mr. Chase, Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne after the match.
Holland simply smiled and walked away when he was asked about his relentless assault. Will the former Brawling Brute address the NXT Universe for what he did to Chase U at No Mercy?
Giulia to appear on WWE NXT?
Giulia made her shocking appearance at NXT No Mercy.
The former Stardom star locked eyes with Roxanne Perez following her successful defense of the NXT Women’s Championship against Jaida Parker.
It isn’t confirmed (at the time of this writing) if Giulia will make her NXT TV debut tonight.
