5 Most Anticipated Matches Of TNA In 2024

IMPACT Wrestling will officially rebrand as TNA Wrestling in 2024. The much-hyped change will coincide with the promotion’s Hard to Kill PPV event, which takes place January 13. Fans are already looking forward to what is expected to a monumental year for Scott D’Amore and the incredible litany of talent in TNA.

There’s no arguing that the promotion had some outstanding storylines and matches in 2023. From Alex Shelley’s long-awaited crowning as the world champion to Trinity’s shocking IMPACT Wrestling debut, TNA kept the buzz running. Having said that, let’s take a look at five of the most anticipated matches of TNA in 2024:

Chaos vs. Bullet Club ABC

Chaos and Bullet Club have a bitter history. The two factions have been practically at war with each other for a long, long time now. They have collided all around the world, but their animosity and hatred for each other remains the same.

A tag team match between Bullet Club ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) against two members of Chaos needs to happen in the IMPACT Zone in 2024. Ideally, a match of this statue would take place at TNA: Multiverse of Matches special event.

Jake Something is a phenomenal talent. He’s truly a big man with incredible size and strength advantage. Jake is also creative with his offense and can pull off reversals in his matches at the very last second.

Josh Alexander is one of the most recognized names on the TNA roster. The Walking Weapon has lived up to his moniker as one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. He and Jake have a history in the IMPACT Zone.

Fans will no doubt love to see these two incredibly talented athletes square off once more in a TNA ring. Their first meeting at Emergence received widespread praise from fans and peers alike. Let’s see if Scott D’Amore can book this match again in 2024.

Jordynne Grace vs. Trinity (TNA Hard to Kill 2024)

Trinity made waves when she debuted in the IMPACT Zone on May 4, 2023. The former Naomi quickly made her way to the title picture. She won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship from Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary 2023.

Her upcoming opponent is none other than former Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace herself. The pair have previously collided in a multi-person tag team match at IMPACT 1000. Fans will have to wait until TNA Hard to Kill 2024 to find out the winner between Grace and Trinity.

Will Ospreay vs. Mike Bailey II

Will Ospreay and Mile Bailey cemented themselves as two of the best wrestlers in the world in 2023. Both men delivered Match of the Year contenders in promotions around the world. They even fought an all-time classic against each other for the first time on the IMPACT Zone at Bound for Glory 2023.

The match broke Dave Meltzer’s star rating with 5.25 stars. Fans are looking forward to the day they’ll get Will Ospreay versus Mike Bailey II inside a TNA ring. Ospreay will be a full-time AEW talent in March, but he’s still returning to TNA for at least one match before that.

Ospreay will be at TNA Snake Eyes in January, and a match with Bailey would certainly create plenty of buzz.

Alex Shelley vs. Moose (TNA Hard to Kill 2024)

This match will determine the very future of TNA Wrestling. The battle between the present Shelley and future Moose is something fans are looking forward to since the bout was made official for Hard to Kill 2024.

Alex Shelley realized his longstanding dream by winning the world title at Against All Odds 2023. Moose, a former world champion himself, earned a shot at the title by winning the Feast or Fired match at IMPACT 1000.

Moose replaced Shelley in the Hard to Kill main event in 2021. So there’s a bit of history between the two. The self-proclaimed Wrestling God hasn’t held the IMPACT World Championship since 2021. It remains to be seen if he can silence his doubters in January 2024.
