Is Omos Ready For The Spotlight?
Whereas these two matches have been generally polarizing, Omos’ looming in-ring debut hasn’t drawn as much flak. But this mountain of a man could be the biggest X-factor on the card, in more ways than one. For months, Omos has been featured on WWE RAW as AJ Styles’ intimidating enforcer. But now, he’s set to compete on “The Grandest Stage of Them All.” While he’ll be working with some of WWE’s finest in-ring talents, it takes two to tango.
While it’s fair to assume that Omos has been working hard to prepare for this match, he could still be a comparably raw prospect. It’s important to remember that he only signed with WWE in 2018, so he’s still fairly new to the business. Regardless, his impressive size gives him an undeniable presence, and even if he’s not quite ready for the spotlight as an in-ring worker, Styles can take a lot of the weight off his massive shoulders. As a result, look for WWE to put the titles on Styles and Omos so the company can see whether the big man will sink or swim.
Elsewhere in the tag team division, the vast majority of the women’s duos will battle it out. The winners of this Tag Team Turmoil Match will face challenge for the gold on Night Two. Taking a look at the participants, the pairings of Lana & Naomi and Natalya & Tamina seem like the favorites at this point. Dana Brooke and Mandy Rose have already unsuccessfully challenged for the titles. That argument also applies to Lana and Naomi, but there’s still a lot of potential with this duo. The Riott Squad and Natalya and Tamina also deserve to win for different reasons. The former is the only genuine team in the match, and the latter is a team that consists of two long-time veterans who should be rewarded for their service.

An unexpected duo could emerge and win this match. From Billie Kay and Carmella to, potentially, Charlotte Flair and Bayley, several possibilities in play. But as of this writing, the smart money is on a victory for either Lana and Naomi or Natalya and Tamina.
