#4.) His character has enough time to develop and expand
The best part of The Fiend is that it’s a character that has existed in the mind of Bray Wyatt for a few years now. If you watch some of his past vignettes and promos, there have been multiple references to The Fiend, showing just how much of a high wrestling IQ that he has. Since we’re still in the early stages of The Fiend’s story, there’s a lot more territory and ground to be covered.
Fans would be more interested in seeing the journey of Wyatt and what led him to become The Fiend. There’s such a big story to be told that even a year wouldn’t suffice to stretch it out. Either way, we know how patient WWE can get at times and hopefully, they don’t thrust him in into the Universal title picture right away. It’s better to take fans on his journey and get them more invested in the character. It will surely have bigger dividends.
