As you know, NXT will be making a move to the USA Network on September 18th, 2019. It’s been over 5 years since the WWE Network began hosting NXT and it’s going to be odd to see the show go live and double the airtime. Regardless, it’s a great move for WWE from a financial perspective, but whether or not it manages to deliver on the platform is yet to be seen.

The skepticism is ultimately going to boil down to the rumors of who will be running it. If the original and current NXT crew are the ones in charge and not main roster higher-ups, then it’s possible that we’ll see a lot more positivity with regards to the show. Triple H stated before that they’ve heavily considered the idea of reverse call-ups, with Tyler Breeze and Fandango both making returns to the yellow brand separately.

There will be space for some main roster superstars to come in and be a part of the program, drawing interest from the casual audience as well. There are quite a few underutilized superstars who would benefit from a move down to NXT. Here they are.
