#3.) Seth Rollins – 2018
Seth Rollins has always been a reliable go-to top superstar for WWE. However, there were a few years from his return from injury where he simply didn’t win any world titles. It took him one incredible match to regain his momentum. It was in February of 2018 and Rollins had to take on all his fellow-Elimination Chamber contestants in a gauntlet match.
He would start off the Gauntlet match in incredible fashion and take out both John Cena and Roman Reigns, lasting over an hour and creating a new record in WWE. He was eliminated by Elias soon after but that defeat showcased his heart and drive and fans got behind him.
It would lead him to a year-long journey that culminated with a Universal Championship win against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. He would go on to become RAW’s leading man after that.
