SummerSlam 2019 concluded in incredible fashion and that seemed to be the tone for most of the show. As they did with Extreme Rules and Stomping Grounds, WWE managed to make a big statement with an incredible SummerSlam PPV. It was perhaps the best SummerSlam in the last few years and this was despite the fact that there was little hype going into it and two major stars in Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns were completely absent from the card despite being healthy.

Moreover, it’s even more impressive when you consider the fact that they had less than a month to really build to the second biggest show of the year. In that regard, WWE must be given credit. While there was a hiccup or two, it was nothing to fawn over and as a whole, the pace and tone of the show was completely positive.

With fans excited over the new direction that WWE is going in, here were the things that they got right at the biggest party of the summer!
