At WWE Extreme Rules 2019, The Undertaker had what was easily his best match in four years as he teamed up with Roman Reigns in a successful effort against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. The dynamic of the teams were good and The Undertaker‘s role was utilized extremely well and it worked in a very traditional and classic tag team formula.
While Reigns definitely did the heavy lifting of the team, there’s no denying that The Undertaker did have his best performance in years, perhaps as a chip on his shoulder from the disastrous Goldberg match-up. However, the most interesting thing about the match wasn’t just that Shane McMahon got pinned and that Reigns and The Undertaker aligned successfully – it was the fact that a Drew McIntyre vs Undertaker feud was teased.
Now, this is something that would be massive for SummerSlam and massive for McIntyre as well. While nothing is set in stone, here are a few reasons why The Undertaker vs Drew McIntyre needs to happen at WWE SummerSlam 2019.
