Daniel Bryan is running strong as one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, getting back to his in-ring best while Rowan does the heavy lifting. It’s been speculated that Bryan and Rowan are performing as a tag team now because of Bryan’s alleged concussion at WrestleMania 35.
To do that, Rowan has to do the carrying, but Bryan has gotten a little more physical of late. It’s inevitable that he’ll branch off into a singles run again, with or without Rowan by his side. Since Bryan was reportedly going to face Owens at WrestleMania 35 (before Kofi Kingston got hot), it would make sense to run back their rivalry, with or without a title on the line.
