WWE Extreme Rules has low-key been one of the most consistent PPVs for the last decade or so. Beginning in 2009, it’s one of the few “B” PPVs that haven’t really been shelved or canceled or even replaced at any point of time. Naturally, the biggest attraction of the PPV is the Extreme Rules stipulation match in itself, but what’s fun about the PPV is usually that most matches have all sorts of stipulations, ranging from Extreme Rules matches to kendo stick on a pole.
While not every PPV has been up to par with excellence, there’s no denying that it has been one of the best PPVs of the last decade or so, perhaps even better than some “A” PPVs such as Survivor Series. It’s also been home to several great iconic moments that have shaken things up.
