#2.) Christian‘s World Heavyweight triumph
Edge’s 2011 retirement had everyone emotional. But as they say, when one door closes, another door opens. This would be Christian’s big opportunity. As Edge vacated the World Heavyweight Championship, Alberto Del Rio was left without an opponent at Extreme Rules in a scheduled ladder match.
Christian took his place and with Edge at ringside, would go to war to fulfill his dream. In an emotional victory (thanks to some help from Edge), Christian managed to win the World Heavyweight title, embracing his best friend after the match in a very genuine emotional moment.
