#5.) Bayley was just a side character in the Alexa BlissNikki Cross story

The very fact that a RAW superstar was challenging for a SmackDown title was bizarre enough, to begin with, but what was even odder was the fact that a champion was a side character in her story. That’s unusual of WWE but Bayley was weirdly just a prop in the larger story of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

Alexa Bliss has been teasing a babyface turn for a while and the first seeds were planted of eventual dissension, where Nikki Cross indirectly cost her the match. The good part in all of it is that Bayley did manage to finally beat Alexa Bliss on the main roster – something she hasn’t really done before. In a way, it completes the cycle of retribution for her on the main roster. She can now move forward and forge her legacy as SmackDown Women’s Champion.
