#4.) Shane McMahon should not be getting so much screen time in the first place

Going back to the last point, Shane McMahon hogging up TV time in itself has presented a problem for WWE. It’s reduced the quality of the weekly shows and it’s clear that fans have no desire to see Shane McMahon as the central villain on both RAW and SmackDown.

The fundamental issue is the screen time he occupies while many other superstars sit on the sidelines, underutilized.

#3.) It would be a terrible end to the Kofi Kingston story

The Kofi Kingston story was probably the best WrestleMania storyline in 5 years, dating back to Daniel Bryan‘s rise to the top. Everything about it was magical and the execution of it was top notch. WWE made no errors in the build-up and had the perfect payoff to it all – with Kofi Kingston finally reaching the mountain top.

Naturally, all reigns have to come to an end as so will Kingston’s. But having Shane McMahon be the one to dethrone him would be an extremely unsatisfactory end to his run. He’s yet to be given a proper opportunity to prove himself as champion, so having it end in the hands of Shane McMahon would be a bad decision.
