#5.) Trying to draw WrestleMania comparisons

WWE has been advertising Super ShowDown as a show “equal to or bigger than” WrestleMania. Sure, from a financial point of view, the Saudi Arabia shows are likely more profitable. Even then, it’s pure injustice to compare it to one of the biggest shows in all of live entertainment. In fact, Forbes named it as the sixth most valuable live entertainment show, even ahead of massive soccer tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League (which in itself gets millions and millions of viewers).

But the truth is that the number of eyes on the show are nowhere close to what WrestleMania is. The only thing in common is the big stadium and the pyro. Even the WrestleMania match cards are generally far superior. While WWE knows this is the case, they should avoid all the WrestleMania comparisons.
