Roman Reigns topping the list of superstars who “need” to win certainly sums up how bizarre a year 2019 has been for wrestling. He faces Shane McMahon in a match-up and here’s why he needs to win – to put an end to Shane McMahon’s ongoing storylines. While he has always been an important figure, 2019 has seen him get a little too involved in storylines.
It’s taken away the novelty from him a little bit, despite his heel run being a bit entertaining. However, a McMahon member shouldn’t be this actively involved in storylines anymore and though Reigns is obviously expected to win, one can only hope that his win writes Shane McMahon off TV.
