#5.) The surprise appearance
Isn’t it crazy to think that even an anticipated debut could still be a surprise? Naturally, Moxley leaving WWE meant that there was going to be rampant speculation as to whether he would arrive at Double or Nothing. When he did show up, the roof of the building seemingly exploded.
Coming through the crowd, Moxley took his own time and went after Chris Jericho, who had just won the main event. He then set his sights on Kenny Omega in a dream interaction we would have never imagined. Omega put up a fight but it was Moxley who stood tall at the end of AEW’s inaugural PPV.
He certainly came in with a blast and there was a whole lot of buzz about it.
