#5.) Get casual fans interested

What’s clear is that AEW has the full attention and support of the hardcore wrestling crowd – one that’s willing to pay money for PPVs, live attendance, merchandise and will tune into their television show. However, we often underestimate the size of the casual audience that WWE has and what a big money market the casual one is.

While it’s always good to cater to the hardcore crowd with five-star matches and spotfests, AEW must do everything in their power to gain the interest of the casual viewer. Casual fans don’t know much about wrestling beyond WWE, so it’s going to take a lot of effort to get them to tune in. If they can get casual viewers frequently, it’ll do great for their TV show and live attendance. It’ll make a big difference in the long run.
