#3.) Finn Balor is forced to defend the Intercontinental Championship
Finn Balor has gone to SmackDown Live with the Intercontinental Championship and he now contends to become Mr. Money in the Bank for the first time. Naturally, this means that he won’t be defending the Intercontinental title, but what if WWE threw a curveball on him and made him defend the title on the first match of the night.
The only logical contender at the moment is Andrade, who happens to be in the ladder match as well. But what if WWE gave Balor a surprise challenger who ends up winning the title from him? It would stack the odds against Balor and make him a fan favorite to win the MITB briefcase. He does seem long overdue for a World title run anyway.
