This coming episode of RAW and SmackDown will feature the third-ever WWE Superstar Shake-up. It’s been a while since the company decided to abandon the “draft” concept. Either that, or it’s one of those tiny quirks that Vince McMahon has, where he just feels the need to have a different name.
Either way, it’s one of the most important nights of the year for WWE, because it determines exactly what the direction of the two brands are going to be and we know from a glance which brand is going to fare better. Two years ago, RAW received several top SmackDown stars and the blue brand suffered from quality as a result (added to an underwhelming Jinder Mahal WWE title reign). The following year, SmackDown clearly got the better side of the shake-up, with the tag team division particularly being gutted on RAW, while SmackDown received all the quality teams.
Either way, this shake-up is going to be important, not just for the brand, but for many superstars as well. On the male side, here are five who need a brand switch immediately.
