#1.) Johnny Gargano to finally become NXT Champion
This is something that’s long overdue. There’s no doubt that he would have won the title had he faced Tommaso Ciampa, but just because the opponent has changed, it doesn’t mean the plan has. It’s NXT’s biggest show of the year, and they have many eyes on the product. Gargano’s story has arguably been the best in NXT history, with him constantly falling short when it mattered, despite always stealing the show.
Johnny Takeover won’t just be stealing the show this time. He may very well finally win the big one and embark on his first reign as NXT Champion. After all, there isn’t much for him to do on the main roster, so it makes sense for him to stick around NXT for longer, where he can thrive.
