#3.)  A great farewell for The Shield

It seems like Fastlane was officially the end of The Shield. Dean Ambrose has chosen not to renew his contract with WWE that expires after WrestleMania 35, something that the company has surprisingly made public knowledge of. With WWE deciding to acknowledge Ambrose’s upcoming departure from the company, it seems like Roman Reigns‘ return timing was just meant to be.

He served as the mediator between Ambrose and Seth Rollins, and for one last time, the band was back together. It was a fitting farewell, as The Shield had several nostalgia spots and showed us why they became so popular and dominant in the first place.

While Ambrose could still re-sign with the company, the embrace after the finish of the match seemed to indicate that he is truly done with the company soon. If that is the case, then The Shield went out with a bang.
