Chris Jericho is nearing 50 years of age and he’s never looked better. He shocked the world in 2017 when he appeared at New Japan Pro Wrestling, making a big splash. He would have a part-time but interesting run with the company that saw him in two back-to-back title matches at Wrestle Kingdom.
It’s true that his opponents were among the top 5 in the world, but Jericho seemingly had creative freedom and put on his best matches in years, proving that age is truly just a number for him. Ambrose might have a similar “restriction” in the ring so to speak, and he could renew his rivalry with Jericho in All Elite Wrestling. There’s no doubt that it would help capture a lot of attention among casual fans and otherwise.
