#3.) vs Gentleman Jack Gallagher -Fastlane 2017
Royal Rumble 2017 marked the beginning of the “King of Cruiserweights” era for Neville. He finally won the Cruiserweight title and it was clear that he would be the center and focus of the division for the foreseeable future. His first major challenge would be against Gentleman Jack Gallagher, who still had to prove himself.
Gallagher started to pick up some serious steam as a babyface, and on Fastlane, he and Neville put on a fantastic effort. both played their roles to perfection, with the crowd rallying behind Gallagher. They even chanted “This is awesome” and went absolutely wild, a rare occurrence for a Cruiserweight match at the time.
The match did wonders for not only each other but for the brand as well. Gallagher lost but won a lot of hearts that night.
