#5.) A great pairing up storyline

The formation of The Bar was one of the most entertaining storylines in 2016. Cesaro and Sheamus had crossed paths and began feuding with each other. Unable to stand one another, Mick Foley put them up against each other in a “Best of 7” series, promising the winner a championship opportunity in the future (not specifying which title).

The series turned out to be an outstanding set of matches, with the final one being the best. It ended in a draw, and Foley forcibly made them team up, giving them a tag title opportunity. What really stuck out about the storyline was how both their characters were shining, and both were playing off each other really well. Foley was a key element in the story, but he was just a prop between the two characters. It was an incredibly entertaining storyline, which allowed fans to get invested in the duo.
