Bray Wyatt may not be known for his in-ring skills, but he fits the term “deceptively agile” perfectly. He’s known more for his character and mic skills and in WWE, that matters more than anything else. This isn’t to say that he’s a slouch in the ring, because that’s far from the truth. He’s been a part of many incredible and memorable matches.
The only thing that he’s mainly suffered from is the fact that he doesn’t get the win when it matters the most. Falling short in the biggest matches has been a hindrance to his career, and even if the match was genuinely good, fans would be bitter about the fact that he didn’t go over and it would make it easy to forget the fact that the match was still good.
Either way, we look at the very best of matches that The Eater Of Worlds has been a part of.
#5.) Elimination Chamber 2017
This match was the most satisfying to watch as a Bray Wyatt fan. It felt as though all the terrible booking that he had suffered from had finally been fixed (How wrong we were). He was a part of a star-studded Elimination Chamber main event that saw John Cena put the WWE Championship on the line.
Wyatt was the star of the match and he even eliminated the champion John Cena, guaranteeing a new champion. He had to get through AJ Styles to capture the gold, and that’s exactly what he did. The crowd popped and everyone was happy that Bray Wyatt had finally gotten his moment.
It’s a shame that he didn’t retain at WrestleMania 33 because if he did, it would have made him a much bigger star.
