DDT is a bizarre promotion. They’re not exactly what you call conventional, and though Omega’s time at DDT is mostly known for his pairing with Kota Ibushi (and subsequent rivalry), he’s had his fair share of bizarre moments. Perhaps the most viral one was when he wrestled a little girl.
Omega was assigned to wrestle the girl and given that he had a reputation of being an extremely safe worker, he was just the man for the job. They would end up going to a time-limit draw and the video went viral. While Omega could have suffered a big blow, it actually ended up helping his career.
As for the blowup doll, the name is Yoshihiko, and both Omega and Kota Ibushi have had matches with the doll. You’d wonder how it would be possible, but somehow, they managed to do it, with the crowd even chanting “Yoshihiko”!
