It’s well known that Jack Swagger has a legitimate amateur wrestling background. But not many people know the extent of his success. He began wrestling at the age of five and won the Oklahoma state title as a junior. After this, he joined the Junior National team. He found success on the college level as well. He came seventh place in the NCAA Championship in 2005, scoring a record number of pinfall victories.
He even impressed in Football and played in both school and college before choosing to focus on amateur wrestling. It paid off for him as he was given the title of “All American”.
