With Bobby Roode, it was quite evident that not only did he possess immense star power, but he was a future world champion as well. One of his career-great moments came when he turned on James Storm and eventually beat him for the World title. It was quite fitting that he beat his fellow tag team partner for the title.
The Roode-Storm story itself took a whole year to culminate, and when they did have the blow-off, the title wasn’t on the line.
