#4.) Pairing with Drew McIntyre
A comparatively recent addition on this list, Dolph Ziggler’s pairing with Drew McIntyre proved to be a career resurgence for The Show-Off. Dolph Ziggler was whiling away on SmackDown Live, not really doing much. After his feud of the year with The Miz in 2016, Ziggler turned heel shortly thereafter. While it seemed like a good move, it turned out to be a move that happened a bit too late.
He would spend the next year not doing much on SmackDown Live. One bizarre instance saw him win the United States Championship, only to vacate it without explanation two nights later and return after a couple of months, again, without any explanation whatsoever. He moved to RAW in the Superstar Shake-Up and subsequently paired with McIntyre.
The two turned out to have surprisingly good chemistry and even picked up the RAW Tag Team Championships together, while Ziggler also won the Intercontinental title for the sixth time.
