#2.) Major canceled storyline
Perhaps what could have helped Cody Rhodes’ WWE career was a storyline that was canceled. It was revealed in an unaired vignette that Cody Rhodes, along with Brandi were going to begin a character arc called “Rhodes industries” – inspired by Stark industries. Though Tony Stark is a hero, Rhodes was going to use his character’s wealth to portray an arrogant, business-man like persona while Brandi Rhodes would be the equivalent of a heel Pepper Potts.
It would have been very interesting to see how it would have changed audience perception of Cody, but for reasons unknown, the storyline was nixed.
