Women’s Wrestling Wrap-Up: Toni Storm Calls Out Megan Bayne, 2025 Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame Class, Bryn Thorne Interview

Toni Storm calls out Megan Bayne for a match at AEW Dynasty. The Women’s Wrestling Hall of Fame reveals its class of 2025. Bryn Thorne chats with WrestleZone, and more.

Toni Storm Calls Out Megan Bayne

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a main event match between Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne, which proved to be a fierce battle of strength. Ultimately, Bayne emerged victorious, courtesy of two Bow Downs (F5s).

Moments before the finish, Bayne also launched Statlander into AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm, who had watched the action closely from the commentary desk. Naturally, this led Storm to physically confront Bayne, resulting in their separation by the hands of security. Afterward, Storm challenged Bayne, whom she considers a “big b*tch,” to a match at AEW Dynasty.

Elsewhere on Dynamite, Mercedes Moné successfully defended her TBS Championship against the up-and-coming Billie Starkz. In a follow-up interview, Moné noted that while she admired Starkz’s heart, it would take more than that to defeat “The CEO.”

Trish Stratus Celebrates 25th Anniversary Of WWE Debut

This week, the wrestling world celebrated the 25-year anniversary of Trish Stratus (real name Patricia Stratigeas).

On the March 19, 2000 episode of Sunday Night Heat, Stratus marked her WWE debut as a talent scout. The following night on WWE Raw, she officially joined Test and Albert as their manager. In the years following, Stratus cemented her own legacy in the ring, with seven world championships to her name, and later, a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

Stratus most recently wrestled at the 2025 Elimination Chamber event in a tag match alongside WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Stratton picked up the victory for herself and Stratus, courtesy of the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Nia Jax. Afterward, Stratus praised her newfound tag team partner.

“If you look at Tiffany Stratton, the trajectory is just upwards,” Trish Stratus said in WWE Elimination Chamber digital exclusive. “The momentum is upwards. I did not want to be blip in her trajectory, so it was really important for me to go out there and deliver 100%, and I think we did alright.”

“Stay tuned for more Stratusfaction,” she added.
