Toni Storm Tops PWI Women’s 250
For the first time in history, an All Elite Wrestling talent has topped Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Women’s 250 list. That distinction, of course, belongs to “Timeless” Toni Storm, who spent nine months of the evaluation period (October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024) as the AEW Women’s World Champion.
In her reign as AEW Women’s Champion, Storm successfully defended the title against the likes of Mina Shirakawa, Deonna Purrazzo, Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, and Saraya. At AEW All In, Storm’s reign came to an end at the hands of her former friend, Mariah May. May’s storyline with Storm, a string of victories in AEW, and eventual title win also earned her an impressive ranking in the PWI Women’s 250, specifically at number nine. Most recently, May successfully defended the AEW Women’s Championship against Willow Nightingale at AEW WrestleDream.

Since losing the AEW Women’s Championship, Toni Storm has not been seen on AEW programming. She has, however, wrestled three matches in STARDOM, two of which paired her with Mina Shirakawa in tag action. The other saw her challenge Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship.
In her AEW absence, Storm has also commented on her PWI ranking, writing “The tart that tops the charts” alongside a photo of the magazine cover on Instagram.
Following directly behind Storm in the Women’s 250 is TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace (#2), whose third reign began at the 2024 TNA Hard To Kill event. Former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley comes in at number three, while former World of STARDOM Champion Maika, and former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer earned the fourth and fifth highest rankings, respectively.
Closing out the top ten are Marigold World Champion Sareee (#6), former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley (#7), former TBS Champion Willow Nightingale (#8), the aforementioned Mariah May (#9), and the long-reigning ROH Women’s Champion Athena (#10).

Jordynne Grace vs. Masha Slamovich Bound For Glory Rematch
At TNA Bound For Glory 2022, Jordynne Grace defeated Masha Slamovich to retain her Knockouts Championship. In doing so, Grace also ended Slamovich’s undefeated streak.
Two years later, Slamovich and Grace are slated for a rematch at the 2024 Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 26. This rematch comes after Grace discovered Slamovich’s “kill” wall, with all of the Knockouts’ faces crossed out, except for Grace. As such, Grace later called Slamovich out to the ring.
Slamovich claimed that she and Grace forged a friendship after their impressive faceoff at Bound For Glory 2022. However, Slamovich felt that Grace built this friendship in an effort to keep Slamovich close. Slamovich also asserted that Grace only cared about being the center of attention. Nevertheless, Slamovich accepted Grace’s challenge for a Knockouts Championship match, while handing her a death warrant.
With their rematch on the horizon, Grace posted a graphic of her and Slamovich’s side-by-side statistics. And while Grace may hold the gold right now, she pointed out that many fans view her as the underdog. Grace, however, isn’t fazed by it.
Ahead of Bound For Glory, Slamovich and Grace teamed with WWE NXT’s Sol Ruca in a triumphant effort over Rosemary, Tasha Steelz and NXT’s Wendy Choo. Coming off this tag match, Choo is now slated to appear at Bound For Glory as well.
