Zoey Stark is taking things day by day, no matter what the circumstances.
Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch seemed like a lock for the SummerSlam card… until it wasn’t. Many fans complained about the match being pulled from the event card. As of now, it’s set to take place on the August 14 episode of RAW.
Zoey Stark aligned with Trish Stratus on the RAW brand this year. She spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about the apparent change in plans. Stark said that her focus has not changed because the date of the match did.
“It’s business as usual. We take it day by day,” Stark said. “It’s not at SummerSlam. But that gives Trish and I more time to plan and figure out what needs to happen.”
“The card is subject to change, she added. “All the time.”
Zoey Stark said that fans can plan on seeing her climb the ladder of success in WWE.
“I want to make sure I prove to everyone that I’m a top star, that I can hang with all of the best,” Stark stated. “That’s my number one goal. I want to be one of the top people.”

Triple H alluded to the Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch match during the WWE SummerSlam post-show press conference. Triple H clarified nothing was cut from the show and said the card had not been announced yet.
According to Fightful (via Fightful Select), WWE kept Trish vs. Becky off of SummerSlam because they’ve been “adamant” about runtimes for recent premium live events. There were talks of moving the match to WWE Payback but WWE settled upon a match on RAW instead.
