Steph De Lander Provides Update Following Her Neck Surgery, Potential Return Timeframe

Former WWE Superstar and current TNA wrestler Steph De Lander recently announced that she needed to undergo neck surgery. Now, two weeks after her surgery, the TNA star shared that she is feeling great.

While speaking on The Commentary Booth podcast, Steph De Lander revealed that she is feeling very good for someone who has just been out of surgery two weeks ago.

“Good. Feels good… I feel great. I mean, it’s been I think just on two weeks since surgery now. And obviously, I’ve got a long ways to go as far as recovery is concerned. But, for two weeks post-neck surgery, I’m feeling pretty good…”

De Lander also mentioned that she sees this as an opportunity to reinvent herself.

“I’m two weeks post-surgery, and while I’m feeling positive, this time is about allowing myself to get to 100%. This isn’t just about recovery – it’s an opportunity to return after a metamorphosis.”

TNA allowed Steph De Lander to open up about her neck surgery on her own terms

During the same interview, De Lander revealed that once she told TNA about her injury, they wanted her to announce it to the fans whenver she felt like.

“I didn’t want to scare everyone. But when I told TNA, ‘Well, we want to give you the opportunity to announce it on your own terms if you want to.’ I was like, ‘Sweet.’” She also wanted to take care of her neck issue as early as possible, before the problem worsened.

“Obviously, neck injuries can be very very dangerous. But luckily mine’s kind of like a preventative look you’ve got. This niggling neck issue. Let’s get it taken care of while we can while you can recover, come back from it. Be 100%. Rather than waiting until it gets worse so I’m feeling good. I’m happy I did it on the road to recovery.”

Steph De Lander might not return until March of 2025.

“I don’t know to be honest. I probably won’t be in the ring until like March to April. So… Maybe even later. So, I have a lot of time to cook up what I want to do,” Steph De Lander said.
