WWE Says Cinnamon Toast Crunch Will Sponsor A Match At WrestleMania 39

If you loved the Mountain Dew Pitch Black match at the Royal Rumble, wait until you get a load of what Cinnamon Toast Crunch has in store at WrestleMania 39.

According to Alex Weprin of The Hollywood Reporter, just two months out from WrestleMania 39, the company already has 43 percent higher sponsorship than it had with WrestleMania 38.

That sponsorship revenue as it stands right now will set a new record for the company at $14 to 15 million dollars for a single event, and there’s little doubt that WWE would like to add onto this on the road to WrestleMania 39.

The Mountain Dew Pitch Black back at the Royal Rumble was met with a very polarizing response. Still, match sponsorships don’t look to be going away anytime soon, as it was announced that the breakfast cereal Cinamon Toast Crunch would sponsor a match at WrestleMania this year.

When pressed for more information, WWE Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Partnerships Craig Stimmel wouldn’t give too much away but teased that it would fit into a storyline heading into the event.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but it’ll be around a match, and the sponsorship of that match, and what they’ll be able to bring to that match,” Craig Stimmel said. “So we’re going to do things that fit inside of our storyline as well.”
