Shinsuke Nakamura Reveals Why He Denied Seth Rollins’ Rematch Offer On WWE Raw

At the WWE Payback Premium Live Event, Seth Rollins managed to successfully retain the World Heavyweight Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. Last night on Monday Night Raw, The Visionary offered a rematch for Nakamura. But The King of Strong Style refused to fight.

Both Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura went to war in the main event of the WWE Payback Premium Live Event. Given that The Visionary was facing issues with his back, The King of Strong Style targeted the injured body part. But Rollins managed to overcome the odds and retained his title.

But after the match, Nakamura attacked Rollins and left him beaten and bruised. Seth Rollins wanted to get his revenge against Nakamura and thus decided to give him another opportunity at the title.

This led to a brawl between the two. Ricochet came to save Rollins thus leading to a one-on-one match between him and The King of Strong Style.

The King of Strong Style came out and it seemed like we were going to witness the rematch right away, but he refused to fight and he walked away.

Later on in a post-show exclusive, Nakamura revealed why he refused Rollins’ offer. The 43-year-old star claimed that he wanted to instill more punishment on Rollins before getting a chance at the title. Shinsuke also stated that he would be the one to decide the time, date, and place of the title rematch.

“Don’t tell me what to do. I decide when, I decided how, I destroy his future. Break him down more, and then take the title,” Shinsuke Nakamura said.

It certainly seems like Nakamura wants to soften up Rollins a lot more before getting another shot at the title.
