Kurt Angle wasn’t even in the ring when Ronda Rousey attacked Stephanie McMahon, but he still felt the after effects as Stephanie sent him on leave.
After Rousey put Stephanie in an armbar, she was being checked on in the trainer’s office when Kurt came to check on her. Corbin and Stephanie effectively blamed Angle for what happened in addition to leaving RAW in ‘chaos’, and Stephanie said he needed a break. Angle said he didn’t need time off, but Stephanie said it was for the best and he wasn’t being fired, and named Corbin the acting general manager until further notice.
